It was on a blustry cool day with deep blue skies that Lake Tansi dedicated their veterans park. Chapter 1015 was asked to assist in this endeavor. Eighteen 1015 members were in attendance with some spouses. We had a flag line around the perimiter. Lake Tansi's Ken Deadmon gave the invocation. Colors posted by Chapter 1015. T Shurmur sang the National Anthem. Next our own Robert "Sarge" Sarazen USN Ret. was the guest speaker. I might remark that we were treated GREAT SPEECH by a gifted speaker. The colors were retired by Chapter 1015 and the Benediction was given by John Sohmer. For such a breezy & cool day there was a good turn out.

The Words to TAPS

Day is done, gone the son
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh

Go tosleep, peaceful sleep
May the soldier or sailor God keep On the land or the deep, safe in sleep

Thanks and praise, for our days
Neath the sun, Neath the stars, neath the sky
As we go, this we know, God is nigh

While the light fades from sight
and the stars gleaming rays softly send
To thy hands we our souls, Lord commend
